Digg founder 'confirms' iTunes 8 visualizer

Continuing to make last-minute assertions about Apple's planned launch on Tuesday, Digg head Kevin Rose tonight claims to have confirmed that a once third-party visualizer is to be built into the still heavily rumored iTunes 8.

The space-like animation was once part of the third-party Magnetosphere plugin but has been unavailable for a few months after a mysterious "third party" bought the plugin and took it offline.

While it's possible that the visualizer was added after the fact, it should be noted that recent reports have cast doubts on the launch of iTunes 8 alongside likely new iPods. For reference, however, the visualizer is demonstrated below.
