Apple has released a brand new app, Keynote Remote ($0.99,
App Store), which can be used to control their presentation suite, Keynote, which got an upgrade yesterday as part of their new
iWork suite.
Using the wi-fi connection of the iPhone or iPod touch, Keynote Remote allows you to control the pace of your presentation by swiping from slide to slide. It also displays your own presenter notes, allows you to preview the upcoming slide, and can be used in both portrait and landscape.
Frankly I'm surprised this app hasn't already been around for a while as some hidden feature of the other Remote app. Good that it's finally here for those flashy keynote presenters who want to show up all the Powerpoint boys in the office.
