Zen Bound rope wrapping game coming to iPhone

Those who found iGolf less than relaxing can look forward to Zen Bound, "a calm and meditative game of wrapping rope around wood sculptures" - a challenge that can prove to be "surprisingly complex", according to its developers, Secret Exit.



This game is obviously one to look out for. With a relaxing and reflective soundtrack by Ghost Monkey, real rope sounds and true-to-life textures, Zen Bound is a game that aims to be a relaxing experience of "stone, wood and rope", "a game where a high score is not the goal".

Diving a little deeper into the iPhone user's psyche, the developer says, "There is also an element of self-reflection, for each of the sculptures is a representation of a state of mind or a human emotion".

Zen Bound will first be released on the iPhone and iPod Touch this fall, followed by releases for game consoles (think PSN, WiiWare and XBLA), PC and Mac. For those wondering, the video above is a desktop build running the game in iPhone resolution.
