Apple releases iTunes 7.7.1

Apple on Wednesday night released iTunes 7.7.1.

The 48MB download is currently available only through Apple's Software Update utility and fixes issues with stability and performance, according to Apple.

It's not believed that the patch offers any new features beyond the original release, which added support for iPhone 3G and iPhone 2.0 firmware, the App Store, and the Remote app for controlling iTunes from an Apple handheld.
