Apple will open
its latest retail store at North Star Mall in San Antonio at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2008. A press preview will take place at 9:00 a.m. CDT that same day.
The deep but narrow all-stainless steel store has a large genius bar in the rear, no cash wrap, a concierge desk, two small personal training areas on the sides, in addition to two large personal training tables.
People familiar with the location say the store also has a "large and luxurious back of store area," complete with a board room, offices, and kitchen.
As usual, Apple has planned a number of give-aways on opening day. The store, which will be located in the old Brookstone space, will be reachable via phone number is 210-321-4420.
